For the outside of uni side of this project a few friends and I armed doing an exhibition at the packhorse. The theme for the exhibition is mental illness. My plan is to produce images of groups of people in everyday situations however on one of the people I will place a creature of some sort that symbolises mental illness. The plan is that the work will show how mental illness is a thing that could be affecting anyone and is always with the person even if they just seem like anyone else most of the time.

I looked at another reinterpretation, modernisation of A midsummer night's dream. It was a film called A Midsummer Night's Rave. There were a lot of similarities to my plan for my adaptation but I think that's to be expected as they are both the same story put into a similar context. The film deviates a lot from the original play and more importantly isn't very good. My version is more true to the original source material (while hopefully being different enough to not obviously be a parody) and is different to the film in enough ways that it is a completely different entity.
